As per the legend of the festival of Holi, the Holika Dahan time is considered an inauspicious period when it occurs in the Bhadra Phase. However, if you perform the Holika Dahan on the Full Moon time of the Phalguna month, the time is highly auspicious. Thus, it is advisable to perform the Holika Dahan Pooja only during the Bhadra Poonch. According to Panchang, the most auspicious Muhurat of Holika Dahan 2022 would be between 09:06 PM to 10:16 PM on March 17. This makes the shubh muhurat for the Holika Dahan of 1 hour and 10 minutes. Holika Dahan 2022 Shubh Muhurat after Bhadra period shall be from 01:12 AM to 6:28 AM on March 18.
